Tom Guilmette just released a BTS look at a cutting edge timelapse adventure known as TIME FEST. It’s very entertaining and features some of the most talented timelapse photographers in the world.

So today on the twitters I asked a Question. “Which do you prefer, zooms or primes”? and the response was overwhelming! However, few people actually answered my question the way that I wanted. I was looking for which of the two people preferred, zooms OR primes, not both!

Now I know the first thing you would say is, zooms and primes are both good depending on when and how you’re shooting. Okay, yeah, of course. But I want to get an idea of what lens people felt closest to? What lens they just felt at home with. So,.. I’ll refine my question.

If you could choose to have only 1 lens, which would it be?

Of the people that did choose 1 or the other, it looks like it was leaning towards primes.
